Hello everyone! My name is Amit Josan, and I am a 4th-semester student here at Saba. I am from Surrey, B.C., Canada, where I graduated from The University of British Columbia with two bachelor's degrees; my first was a double major in chemistry and mathematics, while my second was a bachelor's in medical lab science. After that, I completed an accelerated nursing program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and gained valuable experience working at an indigenous medical clinic in Vancouver's downtown eastside. After completing my nursing degree, I worked as a surgical nurse before coming to Saba.  Apart from school, I have been training in Muay Thai for 15 years and previously competed; I am also currently a Brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt, so if anyone is ever interested in training, feel free to contact me!  Overall, I'm thrilled about this opportunity to serve as the SGA president and look forward to positively contributing to the SUSOM community!
