Hello, my name is Praise and I am currently in my fourth semester. I’m Nigerian-Canadian (born in Nigeria, moved to Ontario, Canada, mid-teens). I did my undergrad at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo ON and my Master of Public Health at Western University, London ON. In my spare time, I enjoy watching K-dramas and medical shows. I’m excited to be a part of SGA and look forward to working together!

Hello all! My name is Gale-Anne, I am in my third semester – after a very fun second sem! I have a background as a nurse and I truly enjoyed working in general surgery. I also love solving problems that help patients! Outside of studies/work, I enjoy being outside and close to the ocean. I look forward to continuing to support SGA, and the SUSOM community! Hello! My name is Emma Reinke. I am a third semester medical student from Ontario. I graduated from UofT with a double major in Cell and Molecular Bio and General Bio with a minor in Physio. Hi! My name is Talha Riaz. I'm a third semester student from Oklahoma. I was born in Pakistan, moved to the U.S. when I started high school. I graduated from University of Oklahoma with a major in Biology. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, hanging out with my friends, and playing cricket. Rohit Chhetri

Hi! My name is Rohit Chhetri and I am currently a first semester SUSOM student. I am from Ontario, Canada. I completed my first undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto with a double major in Biology and Psychology, and later completed a second degree in Nursing at McMaster University. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, soccer, and hiking. One of the coolest experiences I’ve had so far was getting to meet the Prime Minister of the Netherlands during my first week on the island. I’m excited to be part of SGA and look forward to getting to know and working with everyone!

Hi! My name is Nila Elumalai, and I am a fourth semester student. Before coming to SUSOM, I studied Cognitive Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. After graduating, I worked as a Behavioral Technician with children with developmental disorders, and have also published in labs at UCLA and UMiami. In my free time, I enjoy baking, doing jigsaw puzzles, and listening to music. I am excited to be a part of SGA and help make a positive impact on the SUSOM and greater Saban community!

Hey, My name is Arshia Motejadded. I am a fourth semester student. I have studied Kinesiology in honours at York University, in Toronto, Ontario. I used to work as a lifeguard and swim instructor before coming to Saba. I have played D1 football for my university and I love swimming. My favourite colour is purple. I am honored to have this opportunity to be a part of SGA and can’t wait to do great things together.

Hello! My name is Abi Reghuram and I am a fifth semester student here at SUSOM. Before I started medical school, I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Sciences specializing in Kinesiology. During my undergrad, I worked as a Rehab Specialist for chronic pain patients and also worked with the historically underserved youth through the Boys and Girls Club. I enjoy playing soccer, volleyball, badminton and competing in boxing. I’m super blessed to be part of the SGA and I’m looking forward to meeting you.

Hello, my name is Sahib Labana. I graduated from York University with a BSC in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. I hope to specialize in internal medicine, but this could change. Some of my hobbies include sports, specifically badminton and swimming. I love listening to music and at times like to dance. I am excited to be involved in the SGA, and hope to work cohesively as a team to improve the SUSOM community.
